Main Article Content
Abstract
This research aims to improve students’ vocabulary mastery by using the Wordwall Game as a learning medium in English subjects at SMPN 47 Bekasi. The study applied a Classroom Action Research (CAR) design conducted in two cycles, consisting of planning, acting, observing, and reflecting. The participants were 36 ninth-grade students in the academic year 2025. Data were collected through tests, observations, and documentation. Quantitative data were taken from students’ vocabulary tests, while qualitative data were gathered from classroom observations. The results revealed that students’ vocabulary mastery improved significantly after the implementation of the Wordwall Game. The percentage of students who achieved the Minimum Mastery Criterion (KKM) increased from 22% in the pre-test to 89% in cycle II. In addition, students became more active, motivated, and engaged during the learning process. Thus, using the Wordwall Game effectively enhanced students’ vocabulary mastery and created an enjoyable learning atmosphere.
