The Integration of Environmental-Based Learning in Teaching English at SMK Kreatif Dompu

Abstract
This research aims to analyze environmental-based learning in teaching English in the classroom and out of the class. The researcher has carried out this research using a qualitative research method, thematic analysis to analyze data and collected the data through semi-structured interviews, then described and discussed descriptively, and documentation. The objects of this research were two English teachers of SMK Kreatif Dompu. The result of this research, there are two types of integration carried out by English teachers at SMK Kreatif Dompu, namely integrating it in the learning process in the classroom and out of the class. These are in accordance with the integration of environment-based learning. In learning process, teachers have video and back to the nature as teaching media with the concept of back to the nature to integrate it and also in material lesson, teachers give the material related with the environment. As well as teachers conducting reflection in integrating environment-based learning. Projects outside the classroom are such as innovation projects and cleaning day. The project is all carried out by students as a form of integrating environment-based English learning.
